The best thing you can do is to save a sample of the insect you found and call a professional pest control company. Once the insect is identified, a treatment program is established. They will direct you as to how you need to prepare for treatment and discuss all approaches to eliminating the pest. For example there are chemical treatments, heat treatments, freezing treatments; K9 inspections, etc. We also want to determine how the insect got brought into the home. Are you a traveler? Have you been on a plane or stayed in a hotel lately? Once we figure out the travel route of the insect, measures need to be put into place to not allow it to happen again.
